Carroll (1996) and Ferrell, Fredrich & Ferrell (2001) synthesized four key approaches to the philosophical concepts of ethics. Morals are a set of beliefs and values that govern behavior and are influenced by daily thoughts and behaviors. Because they are based on sound reasons that explain a given behavior, philosophy of ethics can be useful tools for decision-making in businesses.
