E- Learning is the delivery and administration of learning opportunities and support via computer, networked and web-based technology to help individual performance and development.

E learning first appeared in USA in mid-90’s but popular in late 90’s.

A learning system based on formalized teaching method with the help of electronic resources is define as E Learning. It can be also termed as a network enabled transfer of skills and knowledge and the delivery of education is mad to a large number of recipient at the same or different times.

Learning management System (LMS)

LMS provide users with access to various learning to take place. It can also help with administration, including curriculum management and course publishing.
